Evyenia Karmi
was born in Toronto Ontario Canada to Greek parents.

Greek dance. Her formal dance career began in 1993, with Tahia Sassine along with workshop studies from international master instructors. Other genres include 4 years in the community adult ballet program at the National Ballet School of Canada.

A performer of many theatre productions and regularly for the Greek, Turkish, East Indian and Arabic communities, she has also appeared in film and television.

Evyenia teaches classes in Toronto and is the author of "Quintessential Bellydance",
winner of The Beverly Hills Book Awards 2014.
